Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sierra Nevada Corporation.
Administrative
We had 3 interviews. First, an HR phone call. Then, a phone chat with the manager and another team member. Finally, an onsite interview with the hiring manager. There was also a big background application and a personality test. They were super quick and responsive throughout the whole process.
- How accurate is the personality assessment?
Executive Assistant
The start of the interview process was great. The recruiter kept in constant contact with me. Offered to be available for any questions or concerns. After the on-site interview I could not reach anyone for any type of feedback. Emails and phone calls were ignored and never returned to at least say they selected another candidate like most reputable companies do. This gave me a negative impression on the Recruiting staff.
- None of the questions were out of the ordinary for this position.
Administrative Assistant
The interview process felt overly long and pointless. It seemed like they weren't actually looking to hire anyone, more like a general info gathering session. I wouldn't suggest it if you need a job fast or are serious about finding something.
- Could you tell me about your background?
- What makes you interested in this position?
