First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Siemens Digital Industries Software.
Technical Consultant
It started with a phone interview where I was asked some technical questions. After that, I was invited to the office for a team interview. The people there were really friendly, and I had a pretty good experience overall. The questions they asked were more about making me think rather than just pure technical skills, which I liked. I ended up getting an offer, and I accepted because the whole package was pretty good.
- What are your long-term career aspirations for the next 20 years?
- Can you synthesize something in Objective C?
Consultant
The interview started with introductions and some usual small talk. They really tried to get to know me on a personal level. I met with various people from different departments who gave me insights and asked some task-specific questions, but they also seemed to accept vague answers. Maybe that was a reason for rejection in the end.
- Why consulting?
- Are you aware of the demands and workload involved?
PLM Consultant
The hiring process took about 2 months. It started with a get-to-know-you call, then an online meeting with my direct manager, followed by an in-person meeting with both my direct manager and another manager. For the final meeting, I had to prepare a presentation based on material I received two days prior.
- Why are you seeking this role at this time?
