First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sid Global Solutions.
Platform Engineer
It was 3 rounds total. Mostly about Linux and kubernetes, focusing on kubernetes concepts and Linux commands. Also talked about past work experience. Had 2 rounds with architects, one with the team lead, and one with the director of engineering.
- Can you explain Kubernetes basics?
- What are some common Linux commands and concepts?
- Tell me about your previous work experience.
Devops Engineer
I had a terrible experience with SID Global for a DevOps Engineer position. I cleared the initial technical round and then a pure technical round. They initially said they would roll out an offer letter the day after my interview, but then suddenly added another round with their head. I attended this final round and answered all questions, but was unfortunately not shortlisted. They then conducted an interview for another position, and the same situation occurred. I answered every question correctly but was rejected. The HR then called again about another opening, asking if I'd like to try. I've realized they enjoy playing games with candidates, even if you're technically proficient. I feel I wasted my time; I could have secured an offer elsewhere for the same interview.
- Were all possible questions from a DevOps perceptive asked and answered correctly?
Computer Vision Engineer
It started with an HR Screening call, followed by an HR Manager Interview. Then, there was a Director Interview. Finally, there were two Client side technical interviews. All the internal interviews were scenario based and very role specific questions. They weren't asking much about my current experience and work, but rather probing for a general grasp of the concepts and the role requirements.
- Describe scenario based system design and follow up questions.
Software Developer
I had two technical rounds, one focused on data structures like trees, and another where they gave me a problem to solve with the best approach. Then there were two HR rounds, which were like typical HR questions, just simple ones.
- They gave me a problem to solve in the technical round.
