Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SickKids.
Intern
I had a conversation with a researcher about a potential summer project. The facilities seemed great, but I had to decline because of other things going on. I'd still suggest it for students into brain and science stuff.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Intern
First, I sent in my resume. Then, I had a Zoom interview with two of the hiring managers. Mostly, I was asked personal questions about my background and past jobs. They also asked things about planning and work ethic.
- When faced with a tight deadline and numerous tasks, how do you approach planning?
- Describe your background.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experiences?
Intern
I was given options for a phone or in-person interview. I did a phone interview which lasted about 30 minutes. It was pretty friendly and casual. The interview was on Friday and I got the offer on Monday. They didn't ask a ton of questions, but they did ask for details about my past work experience and specific skills.
- Can you describe your experience at XX company?
