Tech Lead
The interview process had 6 rounds that I went through. First was the Hiring Coordinator Phone Screening, then the Hiring Manager Round, followed by two DSA rounds and two System Design rounds. Finally, there was a round with the Chief Digital Officer. Communication with the hiring coordinator was good with timely feedback until the last round. After waiting a week for feedback, HR started ghosting me with excuses like sickness and hospitalization. I waited another week with no response. When I finally emailed for feedback, I was told the position was moved and they weren't hiring anymore. This felt like a lie because I saw their LinkedIn job post updated weeks later for the same position. It was hard to accept because I was led to believe an offer was coming, and then they just stopped responding. This really affected me, and I stopped applying to other companies for months. It was a very disappointing and demotivating experience.
- Can you discuss your previous challenging projects?
Engineering Manager
The interview process started with an HR Call, followed by two rounds of DSA + Technical interviews. It was quite ironic how they insisted on camera use while keeping theirs off, which felt very hypocritical and unprofessional. After that, there was a System Design round. The most frustrating part was the ghosting afterwards; they wasted so much of my time across multiple rounds and then just vanished. No replies for weeks, no closure, not even a rejection email. Apparently, this isn't a rare occurrence, as many candidates have reported similar experiences. The HR team was outright unprofessional, ignoring emails and showing zero basic decency. The technical panel was pathetic; the interviewers seemed to just read questions without any real technical depth or follow-ups, like they were just checking boxes instead of assessing actual engineering skills. It felt like they weren't serious about hiring and it was more of a publicity stunt to create market buzz about expanding. Overall, a complete lack of professionalism, respect, and seriousness. A shady, time-wasting experience that I would advise avoiding if you value your time. They lack both technical credibility and professionalism.
- Can you explain Docker and its working?
- How would you serialize and deserialize a JSON object using DSA?
- Describe how to implement job scheduling based on priority and cost using DSA.
IT System Administrator
The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with a recruiter call, then a chat with someone on the immediate team, and finally, meeting with cross-functional partner(s). While talking to everyone was fine, my main issue is that they completely ghosted me after the final interview. After meeting with the final panelist(s), I got a call from the recruiter the following week but missed it. They left a voicemail saying they were calling to give an update and would also email me. I tried calling back a few times with no luck, and also left a voicemail. I never received the email they mentioned. I sent an email at the end of the week to follow up, but got no reply. I pretty much gave up at that point. I really liked the company, but considering this candidate experience, I have no words/no further comment. In the end, I was pretty much ghosted.
