First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sibelco Group.
Sustainability Specialist
The interview process involved three interviews, all conducted in English. The first was with a recruiter to discuss terms, the second with the Iberia Operations Director and the Europe Sustainability Manager, and the final one with the Europe Sustainability Director. The process felt a bit long, taking two months in total.
- Tell me about your work experience from the beginning and why you want to work at this company.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- What would you do if you had to convince someone of something?
Technical Service Manager
So first, there's a phone call to go over the role and make sure it's a good fit for you and your experience. If that goes well, the first interview is online with the hiring manager, and it's mostly about discussing your past experiences and how they relate to this position. After the first interview, there are some assessments, including a Korn Ferry Assessment and personality tests. Then, the second interview is a panel interview, and you'll need to give a presentation based on a case study.
- Can you introduce yourself and talk about your work experience?
- Tell me more about your working experiences.
Account Manager
The interview process was pretty standard, involving interviews and some tests, much like other companies. The personal interview part was the best. They also did salary checks and introduced the company. In the end, it all comes down to how you vibe with the interviewer.
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
Vice President
I was contacted by the company's Recruitment Manager, who was very professional and responsive. The interviews were well-organized, and I was kept informed about any last-minute changes and application status updates. The process involved four rounds, including interviews with the recruiting manager, HR, and other relevant functions. Two interviews were in person, and two were via Skype video call. All interviewers were respectful and friendly, providing key information about the role. The company culture and recent organizational changes were discussed by HR, and a psychometric assessment was part of the process. Overall, it was a positive experience.
- Tell me about your experience leading health and safety initiatives.
- How have you handled organization transformation and changes in the past?
- Describe your approach to performance management.
