First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Shutts & Bowen.
Legal Assistant
It was a super simple interview process. Just one in-person meeting at the office with the hiring manager. I got hired really fast. Make sure you ask about the company culture, the specific practice group, and how much work you'll have before you agree to the offer. It was a very casual chat.
- Can you describe your experience?
Associate Attorney
The interview process was pretty straightforward and wrapped up quickly. I met with several of the partners, and only those based in the Miami office. I didn't have any conversations with associates or partners located in other offices.
- What's your reason for leaving your current employment?
Associate
It was a pretty standard interview process. We did initial interviews over the phone. I didn't get to the final interview with the manager though, due to some conflicts.
- Can you talk about your previous experience and explain how it aligns with the requirements of this position?
Financial Analyst
Applied through university career services. One month later, I was contacted for an in-office interview. They were looking for a finance intern to help with modeling and projections. Interviewed with two financial analysts and the finance director. Got a rejection letter one week after the interview. It was a positive experience overall, despite not getting the offer.
