I had a Zoom screen call where we chatted about general testing principles, the Test pyramid, and different test types. Then, there was an in-person interview (this was before COVID) which included a technical part with system/design on a whiteboard, and also an interview with HR/the Product owner.

The recruiter reached out and we had a quick 10 min chat about the role and I said I was interested. Then I had an hour long interview with an SDET where I answered some straightforward technical questions and did a brief coding exercise. Even though I didn't finish the exercise, the interviewer said I did well and liked my thought process. The final interview was a 3.5 hour virtual marathon of 30-60 minute interviews covering my QA and development processes, technologies I've used, my previous work, and general HR scenarios like how I'd handle various hypothetical situations. They also threw in 2 coding exercises during this block, which they mentioned is fewer than usual to ensure the one mandatory coding exercise is done well. The recruiter was super responsive, and I got an offer in under a day after the final interview. However, I was left hanging for almost two weeks, with repeated assurances that the offer letter was coming 'today'. Then, out of the blue, I was told the role was moved to Ireland and they weren't hiring in Denver anymore, so there was nothing for me.

I had two phone screen interviews and then a four-hour on-site interview at their new office in the ESB. The people were friendly and professional. The on-site had two interviews, a break, and then at least one more interview. If you don't do well, the interview might be shorter. Mine was about four hours. They use whiteboarding, but don't stress too much about minor details. Pseudocode might be acceptable. One of my interviews was via video conference. They said I'd hear back by the next Monday, but I didn't, so I emailed for feedback on Tuesday. They said they were looking for someone 'more senior'.
