Initially, I applied for another position, but I didn't receive any feedback so I assumed my application was not successful. Then, few months later, HR manager called me and asked if I was interested in another position instead. He arranged a face to face interview with a hiring manager who came from Berlin office for the business trip. My interview with the hiring manger was ok. She asked basic questions, it was not difficult at all. After that, she invited one of her colleagues to test my language skills as this role requires full proficiency in certain languages. At the end of interview, the hiring manager told me that she would ask HR manager to arrange my second round interview with NY team. It happened nearly a month ago, however, I haven't received any update(even a rejection letter) from the Company yet. I sent an email to ask the status and tried to call them several times but they didn't pick up my call. I am assuming that they have decided not to move forward with my application. I can understand if they think that I am not suitable for this role, however, it is very rude and unprofessional if they have decided to keep ignoring instead of contacting me directly.

I had a total of 4 interviews with managers/colleagues from Berlin and New York. It was very heart-warming that all of them were really nice and patient with me despite the poor internet connection that we were experiencing throughout the Skype interview. The difficult part of the interview was the language test where by they give you essay questions to type within 40mins. They will test you on the languages that you've applied for. There was also a speaking test on English only.

Had a phone interview with the recruiter, which started 20 minutes late. Then had in-person interviews at the office with about 5 people. They were all great. BEWARE of the schedule they want to hire you for. They never mentioned working on the weekends or very early morning (6AM) or very late at night (11PM) during the interview process until AFTER they gave me a verbal offer over the phone and told me it was ok to give in my two weeks to my current employer. They want to push you into giving your two weeks and after you resign starts asking you which schedule you can work to put it on the offer letter. Director clearly told me that they ARE NOT flexible and not to expect whatever schedule you accepted to be changed or negotiated once you started. I was very excited to work here and it turned into an AWFUL experience.
