They asked me some basic questions about my customer service experience. They wanted to know how I handle upset people and if I have experience with high call volume. Nothing too crazy, it's a pretty standard call center job that involves taking payments.

Three rounds of interviews seemed like a lot, but I get the reasoning. But overall, not a bad process. I felt like I got along with everyone and really wanted the job after. Glad I got it.

I applied for the Treasurer position via email in early summer 2013. It took until late summer to hear back. My first interview was with the VP of Theater Operations, and it went well. He mentioned he could only approve candidates for the organization, but the hiring for the actual box office treasurer was up to each theatre. He then passed my resume along. Waiting to hear back for a while is normal in this industry. In September, I had another interview and was then offered the position.

The interview process was straightforward. After submitting my resume, I was scheduled for an in-person interview at the office. Following the interview, there's a training/shadowing period as an usher to get started with the job.
