First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SHRA.
Software Engineer
The interview process involved an online aptitude test for the first round. Then, the second round was a face-to-face interview at the company. The third round was also a face-to-face interview, focusing on managerial aspects, and it was a good and memorable experience.
- What is software in the quality process?
Housing Program Technician
There was a test before the interview, which was pretty basic, covering computer skills and housing knowledge. The interview itself was virtual and one of the better ones I've experienced. They asked 5 questions during the interview.
- What motivates your interest in working for SHRA?
Community Development Analyst
The interview process involved two main stages: an oral exam followed by a hiring interview, both conducted in person. The interviewers were approachable. It's advised to arrive five minutes prior to your scheduled time to allow for security clearance. Although an offer was extended, the proposed salary was below expectations and non-negotiable, which felt disrespectful given my background.
- Can you explain why you believe you are a suitable candidate for this role?
Housing Program Technician
You start with a written test, and if you pass that, you'll move on to an oral exam or interview. This interview part has about 10 questions, and you have 30 minutes to answer them.
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations to help a customer?
- What's your approach to communicating unfavorable news to a customer?
- How do you organize your schedule to ensure you meet deadlines?
