The interview was quick and easy. The interviewers were nice and there was just one or two people talking with me. They also mentioned that I was overdressed and that they are accustomed to candidates wearing hoodies.

It started with a written test on making mixed drinks. Then there was a verbal interview, which felt pretty lazy. You know it's a lazy interviewer when they kick things off with "Tell me about yourself." That was followed by some bad questions. The person interviewing me said they were the manager, but then later mentioned "talk to the managers." I asked if they were the bar manager, but got no response. At the end, they told me to come back and watch movies, though obviously no actual movie passes were offered.

I applied online for a job at this new theater that was being built near my house. The interview went okay, the manager was nice and she told me they were in a rush to open on March 1st. I think they really wanted people who had prior experience. They got back to me within 3 days of me applying. It was scary because it was my very first interview ever.

It was an easy process. They wanted me to explain my experience, how it's relevant, and why I'd be a good fit. It was important to be open about my availability and flexibility. I also needed to remember to ask questions at the end, look presentable, be on time, and make a good impression.
