Very bad experience. Don't trust! First round was purely coding to check your ability to code. Second round was about domain knowledge. Third round was a panel interview with the Manager & Lead. After verbal communication that I cleared all rounds, I was not offered the job. The HR started ignoring phone calls and gave no response in mail. Basically, don't trust HR. They don't have the courtesy to at least give feedback.

They started with a phone interview covering C and C++ basics, not too deep. Then I was flown to Austin for the onsite rounds. The first onsite round was an informal chat with the manager. The second round involved a design problem where I had to create an OO solution, which I did. The third round was a bit strange; the interviewer just listened to me the whole time. In the fourth round, I was asked to present and demonstrate a C++ project from my resume. This is where I made a mistake, as I presented a project that was half C and half C++. Even though I did well in the first three rounds, this mistake cost me the job.

The whole process took me about half a day and involved 5 rounds. There were 2 technical rounds, 2 managerial rounds, and 1 HR round. The first technical round was challenging, but solvable if you have practical experience in the areas you're applying for. The second technical round was even tougher, focusing on your current work and asking you to rate your expertise out of 10. Be careful with your ratings, as they can significantly impact your evaluation. The third round, a managerial one, included typical scenario-based questions, discussions about CTC and notice period, with a slight technical flavor. The fourth managerial round delved deeper into your availability to join, CTC, and other related administrative details. Finally, the HR round confirmed I was through and asked for my payslip and previous employer's offer letter. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and seemed promising.
