I had a phone call with the HR director. They introduced themselves and said the job I applied for was no longer available because they hired an internal candidate. They still wanted to interview me because of my footwear experience and some upcoming changes. The HR Director said they'd know more after a meeting in a few days and scheduled a follow-up with me for the next week. I took time off work and researched to prepare for the next interview, which was scheduled for the same time the following week. The next week, I took the morning off work, but received no contact from them. I called and emailed, but got no response. It was very disappointing.

First, there was a phone call with a recruitment agency. After that, I had a video call via Teams with the agency. Then, I interviewed with the Sales Director and the HR Director, again via Teams. Finally, I had a Teams call with the Europe Director and the Sales Director. This all took place during Covid.
