Behavioral Presentation

The interview process involved a recruiter call, followed by a call with the manager, then a meeting with the responsible person, and finally an interview with the director. The interview was okay, with questions about my background, personality, job expectations, why I applied for this specific job, and my medium/long-term vision. Part of the interview was also conducted in English.

So I had two interviews with my potential manager and a director. The first one was pretty chill, we just talked about my experience and skills, and it felt like we connected right away. The second interview involved a test on Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, plus a presentation where I had to come up with a digital/social media plan for launching products. Didn't get the job though. They said the other person's answers were more 'in-depth', which I found a bit unfair since I only had a day to do four things. It's a shame Shiseido is one of those companies that expects interns to do a lot for barely any pay.

I interviewed for a role on the NARS team. It started with a phone screen with the in-house recruiter. Then I was invited to meet the hiring manager and a peer. We had casual chats about my background, the job, and the team. The recruiter was professional at first, but after the in-person interview (which I felt went well), things changed. I was told a decision on final rounds would be made within a week. Despite emailing four times and leaving a voicemail over six weeks, I never heard back. This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially after they brought me in. I also noticed the NARS team was very homogenous, everyone dressed in black, and the office felt sterile and uninspiring, which was unexpected given their brand.
