I got an email about the job and set up a phone interview with the recruiter. It went well, so they set up an in-person interview with the field training manager. I thought it went really well, but then I got ghosted. I sent thank you emails and followed up after a week with no response. I spent an hour on the phone interview, and then drove an hour through Houston traffic for the in-person interview, only to be ghosted. They didn't even send a rejection email. It feels disrespectful to waste our time, energy, and hope. While it's fine they didn't hire me, a simple heads-up would be better than leaving candidates hanging for weeks. I wouldn't recommend this place for a corporate job unless you want unprofessional treatment. Ghosting is bad business, and companies shouldn't take advantage of candidates.

I had a phone screen with HR, then my supervisor, followed by a quick video interview with a Senior Executive, Ops, Marketing, and the President. After that, there was radio silence. I thought the interviews were engaging and interesting, and I sent follow-up thank you emails. I was told I was perfect for the job and had the exact skill set needed. Then, nothing. I had to follow up to get a response like 'hang on - we are almost there'. Then there were continuous delays. After 6 weeks, by which point I was no longer interested, they changed the role requirements so I wouldn't be a fit for reasons unrelated to job qualifications. So, I told them a lie to meet the new requirement and called their bluff. Again, nothing. I'm angry I wasted my time, but more importantly, they wasted it and likely countless others. It's a blessing in disguise because they probably act like this in other business areas, and my standards are higher than that. Beware of them. Old brand. Older business behavior.

The whole thing was super quick, under 20 minutes. They asked some easy questions and offered me the job right there. I got a tour of the place too. They wanted to know my availability, my past work experience, and why I applied for this job, plus a couple other things.
