Had a really smooth interview process for this manager role. It started with a recruiter call, followed by a take-home assignment. Then, we discussed the take-home assignment, and I had to explain my reasoning and approach. It was a real-world problem, not a typical LeetCode question, which I thought was good for finding candidates who hadn't just memorized solutions. The other interviews involved discussions with Product Managers and technical deep dives. Everything was done pretty quickly, all within the same week. Overall, it was a great and positive experience.

The process was very straightforward and transparent from the start. The recruiter was always available to answer any questions and gave prompt feedback. The interviews were a good length to get all my questions answered. The whole thing took about 2 weeks even though everyone was busy.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had a negative experience with Shipbob. My first 3 interviews went great, and I received extremely positive feedback. After my "final interview " I was told I would hear back from them in 2 days. 2 weeks later I finally heard back and they asked to do another interview. The interviewer was slurring his words and had a difficult time speaking coherently. In multiple instances he did not actually ask a question, but expected an answer. A few days later I was asked to schedule another meeting and was told I was not a fit for the position. At the beginning the process was was organized and professional, I don't know what happened, but the last 3 weeks was extremely unprofessional. I can't imagine treating a candidate in this way.
