the process was pretty standard, they had me wait in the office for a bit 'cause another interview was going on. When I went in, there were three interviewers and someone from HR. They asked me the usual interview questions, plus some technical ones.

It was a really quick and easy interview process. Just one person interviewed me, and it only lasted about 20 minutes. They mainly asked about my current project background and some technical stuff. No standard behavioral questions. The assistant manager was super helpful and even gave me some pointers and study notes beforehand. If you know your stuff from previous jobs, it's a pretty straightforward interview. I heard back about getting hired within the same week.

Behavioral

It was pretty disorganized. One interview would somehow morph into another one weeks later with barely any feedback. They'd go dark for like a month because of internal restructuring. Then they'd come back saying they're super stoked about the possibility of you joining them, only to ghost you again.

Technical System Design

It was a thorough process. They asked a lot of technical questions, so you need to have a strong background. Even though the role is for a site team, they still asked design questions to gauge our level of understanding. The interview was on a Saturday, and the role is expected to work 6 days a week.

  • What are your technical qualifications regarding fire systems?
  • Describe your design experience with HVAC systems.
