The interview process started with a HackerRank Test focusing on REST API using Java. Then there were two technical rounds. The first technical round covered basic questions on Java Spring Boot. The second technical round, with the manager, involved discussions about the project, system design, event-driven architecture, and technologies like Kafka. Following that, a behavioral round assessed company fit through scenario-based questions. The final round was with the Director and included one system design question about an inventory service.

Applied and was asked for my availability for an initial interview. Sent my availability but received no response until I double checked. Interview was planned, but once I joined the interviewer didn’t show up. Waited for 15 minutes. Send another email to ask if something went wrong during planning. Maybe the interview time was for another time zone, for example. It’s been a couple of days. Haven’t received a reply to this mail.

Behavioral Technical

Had a phone interview that was about 40 minutes long. They said the next step would be a technical phone screening over Skype, but it wasn't scheduled for another three weeks. When it was finally scheduled, I got word it was cancelled because the director was changing direction. It was a really unprofessional experience and doesn't say good things about the company. Also, a lot of their dev team is overseas, so good luck to anyone who signs up for that.
