The interview process consisted of an assessment and three video-recorded questions. While not overly challenging, it consumed approximately two hours. Following the assessment, I was informed that no positions were available in Germany, which was quite disappointing and felt like a waste of several hours.

Behavioral Case Presentation

I started with a game-based assessment and got a response the next day. Then I completed the ODVI within 7 days, which involved behavioral questions and understanding my motivations for working at Shell, requiring concrete examples. About a month later, I was invited for a case study and fit interview with two Shell employees. I was given a case to review beforehand, and then I had to give a verbal presentation on the topic, followed by additional questions. This part lasted about 2.5 hours. I'm still waiting to hear back as my process isn't finalized.

Behavioral Presentation

The process had 3 stages: Application, Interview 1, and Interview 2. Interview 1 was a general chat asking about job history and standard competency stuff. Interview 2 involved a presentation then more competency questions. The process was well organised and explained. The hiring manager gave a good overview of the business and explained the role's big picture context. He also answered questions about the role, culture, and challenges. Overall, it was an excellent professional yet friendly experience… be yourself!

It started with an email inviting me to a phone interview. She then asked me the usual questions like ‘tell me a time when you gave excellent customer service’ etc. then I was invited to a 1.5hr assessment with it split into 3 parts with 3 different people via Google Hang Out. The first part was competency questions, second part was a scenario based assessment so they will give you a scenario and you have to rate the 4 options into ‘most likely to use’ and ‘least likely to use’ and the last part was the role play. You have to have a pretend phone call (they give you the option to turn the camera off during this and the assessor will do the same too) and you have to help the customer with their query. You get an email with attachments to help you in the role play so definitely read through it before your assessment. All assessors were lovely and made me feel so relaxed and calm. Really put you at ease as it can be quite daunting. The time flew by.
