First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SHC.
Engineer
The interview process was structured and efficient. It began with an initial HR screening over the phone, followed by a technical assessment. After that, I had a panel interview with team leads. Communication was clear throughout.
- Describe a difficult work situation and how you resolved it.
Asset Protection Associate
I interviewed with two managers for about an hour. They asked me several questions about my background and about times I had to stop someone I thought was shoplifting, and if I ever had any bad stops. They also asked about my computer knowledge and report writing.
- What is your experience level in dealing with shoplifters?
Sales Associate
It was a two part interview, first with the GM and then the department manager. The questions were pretty standard, and honestly, my resume did most of the talking because I had so many previous selling experiences that I could connect to this job. I used stories to show how I've handled different situations as they came up.
- Tell me about your financial needs.
- What's your availability like?
- How do you feel about punctuality?
Anesthesia Tech
I had a phone interview with the manager and lead. It was about 30 minutes long and included behavioral questions like 'tell us about yourself and your experience' and some situational questions. I also got to ask questions at the end.
- Describe a time you handled workplace conflict.
