IT Intern
I learned about this internship at a university career fair from an employee, then I applied. About a week later, the recruiter called me to set up a virtual 1-hour panel interview with two IT employees/directors. It was nice talking to them and they were on time.
- Could you explain your reasons for choosing your current university?
- What influenced your decision to pursue your major?
- Describe an experience where you led a team.
Intern
The interview was conducted in a SMART layout, and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Management encouraged my answers and was interested in learning about my background and the situations I've faced. The process wasn't stressful and everything went very smoothly.
- What motivated you to apply to Shaw?
Intern
I had a recruiter call as part of the process. It was a good and informative chat. We talked about my background, what I've done, and what I'm looking for in the job. The recruiter was nice, polite, and kept the conversation going. I liked that they answered my questions and told me more about the job and the company. Overall, it felt like a useful part of getting hired.
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
