The first interviews are with the manager and a team leader. They'll ask you things like what you know about Sharp, to tell them about yourself, and why you think you're the best fit for the job. They'll also ask about your goals for the role. If they see anything interesting on your resume, they'll bring it up. For me, they did a quick Excel test to check basic skills, like using the SUM function and adding lines. The second interview was with the VP of the team, and it was pretty chill. We talked about what I've done in my past jobs and more about the role itself. Other than that, it was pretty straightforward.

I actually applied for this position twice because they lost my first application from months ago. Weeks after I reapplied, I had a video interview with someone from a different office. At the end of that call, they said I'd be notified if I got the job. After hearing back, I was invited for a second interview, this time in person with two managers. It was quite long and mostly involved typical interview questions. I felt it went well, so the next day I sent thank-you notes to both managers, reiterating my interest. Only one manager responded, saying HR would be in touch, but I never heard from them. It's the same HR department that lost my initial application. It left a really bad impression.

I showed up for my interview on time, but ended up waiting about an hour and a half to be seen because I had to fill out an application first. The main interviewer seemed pretty unenthusiastic and made some iffy comments. Things got awkward when I asked him to explain a question, and he got annoyed. He acted like he was doing me a favor by being there and expected respect just because he was the boss. It didn't seem like a great place to work. In the end, I was rejected over a minor technicality that probably could have been ignored if they actually wanted to hire me. Honestly, I don't think I missed out on a good opportunity.

I went through 3 rounds of interviews for this role. It started with a phone call, and then I had 2 in-person interviews with the people who would be making the hiring decision. They asked pretty standard questions, like about my strengths and weaknesses, to give examples of my biggest achievements, to introduce myself, and to explain why I'm seeking a new job.
