The interview process was straightforward, consisting of a phone call labeled as a "Culture Talk." The questions felt like they were pulled from an online source. I spent 4 days preparing and found a quiet place for the call, but the experience was marred by poor phone line connection. It was quite frustrating as I believe my answers could have been better if the audio quality had been clearer. I had to apologize multiple times and ask for the questions to be repeated. This was my first time encountering such a difficult phone interview.

The interview experience was not good. From the initial phone screen, the recruiter seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. The questions weren't structured well to check for culture fit. What really stood out was when I asked the recruiter to repeat a muffled question, and they smack their teeth and repeated it condescendingly while not on mute. This was surprising from someone who influences hiring decisions. The rest of the call continued poorly, with the recruiter being dismissive when I asked my final questions, making me lose interest in the role. I hope no other candidate has this experience and that this wasn't part of a 'culture fit' assessment.

So the interview process was a mixed bag for me. The first phone screening felt a bit like they were just going through the motions, not much warmth there. But then I had two video interviews with four different branch managers, and those were amazing! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, which made me even more eager to join the team.
