The interview process was efficient and straightforward. The interviewers were knowledgeable and asked demanding questions, but the overall atmosphere was welcoming. There were two rounds: the first confirmed my understanding of the role and its duties, and the second assessed my expertise and cultural fit with the company.

I applied online and got a quick response from an executive at this startup that's growing fast and just got funding. I had my first call with him, which was pretty standard. A week later, I got an email asking to schedule an in-person interview. I ended up coordinating with a new HR hire via personal email, which was a bit weird but okay. I went to their small, open-plan office and arrived a bit early. The on-site interview itself was kind of chaotic. I met with several team members, but the order felt off and unplanned. I was supposed to meet the CEO, but she left before I could, which seemed unprofessional. The HR person coordinating seemed surprised by this. I was asked the same questions again and didn't really get a clear picture of the company's internal workings, just some day-to-day info. I followed up saying I could meet the CEO, but was told to be patient. A couple of weeks later, they told me they'd made an offer to someone else. My impression is that it's a small company trying to get more organized as it scales. The people I met seemed genuine, but the interview process could have been much better and more respectful of my time.

After I passed that, I went in for an in-person interview and a tour. They asked me some technical questions and gave me logic tests to check how I solve problems. The interview felt very professional.

The interview was cut short due to a scheduling error on their part. The interviewer was very friendly and approachable. It turned out the company wasn't actually hiring, so I didn't get the role. I mainly did it for practice, but it seemed like a great place to work with a positive environment and really outgoing staff.
