First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Shapoorji Pallonji.
Planning Engineer
After my resume was shortlisted, I had a direct personal interview. They asked me basic questions about planning, scheduling, and contracts.
- Could you prepare a logistics layout plan for a high-rise tower?
- What tasks need to be completed when preparing an Extension of Time (EOT)?
- Is productivity normal?
Trainee Engineer
First there was an aptitude and technical quiz. Then a non-elimination group discussion. After that, a technical interview which lasted about half an hour, and at the same time an HR round.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Can you describe drawing beam and slab sections?
- What are the IS codes?
Engineer
The interviewer asked me to introduce myself, but I didn't say much as I was unsure about the job. I then asked about my role and the inhand package, but the interviewer didn't explain the role well and refused to disclose the package. When asked about technical questions, I initially said I had none, but the interviewer questioned my top exam score, to which I attributed to luck and then cheating. The interviewer stated my score was the highest, leaving no room for cheating. I reiterated my uncertainty about the role and package, emphasizing it's a life decision. The interviewer remained silent. As I was leaving, the interviewer told the placement representative that they wanted to hire Mohit, but he was not interested.
- Tell me about yourself?
- Could you elaborate on my responsibilities within the company?
- What is the expected salary package?
