Medical Records Technician
The interview process was straightforward, clear, and genuinely pleasant. Each step felt organized and respectful, allowing me to feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout. I appreciated the team’s kindness and transparency.
- What makes you the best candidate for this position compared to others?
Fertility Nurse Case Manager
I applied for the job on April 15th and got an automated response to set up a phone interview. Set up a phone interview for April 22nd got an email that morning that the interviewer needed to reschedule. The interview was rescheduled for April 23rd. The phone interview seemed to have gone good and was basic screening for why choose SGF. On April 24th I got an email for a zoom interview. The interview seemed to have also gone well and was very excited and was told I would be hearing from the manager. On April 27th I got a call from the manager and she said she’s heard great things about me and would love to set up an in person interview and office walk through. May 8th I did the in person/walk through that went great or so seemed. On May 16th I received an email that they would be going with another candidate. I wish they would have told me why I didn’t get the position.
- What motivated you to apply to SGF?
Fertility Nurse Coordinator
The interview process involved a 30-minute phone call with a recruiter, followed by a roughly 40-minute virtual interview with the office manager and clinical operations manager. A shadow day was also part of the process. The entire experience from the initial screening to receiving an offer spanned about three weeks. The interviews were quite detailed, focusing on understanding my suitability for the role. I had the opportunity to ask numerous questions, and they were open about salary and job expectations, with everyone appearing genuine. Despite my nervousness, they created a comfortable atmosphere. The recruiter and office manager were highly responsive to my communications, which was a positive aspect.
- Can you share an instance of facing a challenge or setback in your nursing career and what you took away from it?
IVF Nurse Coordinator
I spoke with a recruiter first, and they asked me typical interview questions about my experience and why I was interested in SGF. The recruiter mentioned that even their most experienced IVF RN coordinators don't make over $80k a year, so I decided not to continue with the process.
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
- What are your reasons for applying to SGF?
- In what ways do you believe you can make a contribution to SGF?
