I'd suggest being careful if you're thinking about applying here. After going through six interviews, which even included a lunch, I was then asked to do a big assignment and present my thoughts. What happened next was radio silence. I had to chase them for an update, and then found out that ideas very similar to what I presented had already been used in a campaign for the client my assignment was about. Could be a coincidence, but the details match up, and other reviews online talk about the same thing. I can't say for sure if they were trying to get ideas instead of hiring someone, but I feel people should know this before putting in their time and effort.

It was an easy interview process, mostly due to disorganization and seeming overwhelm from the company. Basic procedures seemed absent, causing internal confusion. The final interview was unusual; I was told it was the EVP and a Partner, but it was just one person. It was one of the rudest, most unprofessional interactions I've had, yet in a funny way. The interviewer was late, forgot, texted throughout, laughed off-camera, typed on the computer, and then stopped responding multiple times. They clearly hadn't reviewed my resume. Questions like 'do you have client facing experience?' were asked, indicating they didn't know what to ask. They even asked me, 'What questions should I ask you?'. They barely looked up. They claimed 14 years of experience, making me think I dodged a bullet. The entire process was fast, with all three interviews within a week.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was just like the pandemic–long and you never knew when it would end. After 5 rounds of interviews and an extensive test, I was ghosted and never really heard any updates about the role or given any feedback in general (which I requested). Oddly enough, I also noticed that the same influencer I pitched to them for one of their accounts in the edit test was used for that same account’s campaign. It could be a coincidence, but it doesn’t sit well with me thinking that I was merely a content guinea pig for a brand I genuinely was interested in. With the job market being as rough as it is, it’s extremely disappointing and completely unprofessional to not only NOT follow up with candidates, but avoid closing the loop at all. If you don’t tolerate breadcrumbing and ghosting in your dating life, then you shouldn’t tolerate it in your career either. I’d seriously avoid interviewing with this company, and I’m saddened that this was my experience.

I applied for an influencer marketing manager job. They reached out and suggested my skills might be a better fit for a more senior role and wanted to continue interviewing to find the best placement. The process was great, with positive conversations and a very nice team. I spoke with everyone and even did an assignment to show my thinking. They ultimately decided not to move forward and didn't provide feedback when I asked why I wasn't considered for any influencer roles.
