I had a single virtual meeting with the person in charge of clinical work. It was super chill and probably the easiest interview I've ever had. They laid out what it's like to intern there and what I could expect from them.

The hiring process moved really fast. After I applied online, I got a call for a phone interview in just two days. Then, I was asked to come in for an in-person interview at the office. I was supposed to meet with the hiring manager and someone from the Development team, but that person had to cancel. I ended up meeting with the hiring manager for about an hour and had to complete an application form. They mentioned I would have a phone chat with another department member the following week and they'd arrange the next interview. However, just three days later, the hiring manager sent an email saying they had decided to proceed with other candidates. I was a bit worried because I knew the position was new and the department was structured in an unusual way.

I applied for Program Coordinator and went through a phone screen, then a face-to-face interview. During the interview, the director brought up other positions like Parent Educator and Case Manager, which was unexpected as I applied for Program Coordinator and have 5 years of experience in that role and over 15 years in Non-Profit. I felt it was a waste of time because we didn't discuss the role I applied for, and the suggested roles would be a significant pay cut and a step back in my career.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a business casual attire event. They were looking for more details about my training, experience, and background. I understood the organizational expectations for the position before the interview. The supervisor and the program director were both there. They were clear about the program's expectations and requirements.
