Behavioral Presentation

I started with HR and then had several meetings with department managers. Some of them were friendly, while others seemed a bit distant, almost like they were testing if I could fit in with their team. It wasn't as relaxed or welcoming as I had hoped, but ultimately, I didn't get an offer, so I guess I wasn't what they were looking for.

I applied to Seventh Gen in mid May 2018. My first phone call was with corporate (Unilever) at the end of May. Then I had a phone interview with a hiring manager at Seventh Gen in early June, followed by an in-person interview in mid June. The in-person interview consisted of back-to-back half-hour interviews with 5 different people in various positions. Four days later, I got a call offering me the job. The whole process took a little over a month, and everyone I interviewed with was really friendly.

I applied online through my college's job portal. The next day, I was asked to play some games that highlighted my strengths and weaknesses. After that, I had to do a recorded interview using HireVue. The recruiter told me to finish it within 24 hours, even though the email said I had a week. Then, I was supposed to go to Burlington for a group interview with two other candidates and an individual interview. Because of bad weather and canceled flights, I couldn't go in person. So, I did all the interviews from my dorm room via Google Hangouts. We worked on case studies together, and I even interviewed with my direct managers. There were lots of breaks, and I got to hang out with the other candidates and the team, even though I wasn't physically there. I got a call offering me the job the same day, and a formal offer letter came the next week.

Case Presentation Behavioral

The super-day was held in Burlington and included three stages: a mock scenario, a group presentation, and behavioral interviews with managers. Overall, it was pretty straightforward and the vibe was welcoming from Seventh Gen. However, the university HR person from Unilever made it more stressful than it needed to be.
