Behavioral

It started with a Teams interview with someone from Talent Acquisition. They asked me why I was interested in media sales, why I wanted to work for Seven specifically, and what sales or customer experience I had. There were two more stages after that, but I didn't get past the first one.

Behavioral Other

The interview process was pretty simple and straightforward. It focused on questions about compliance and complaint management. They also asked some political questions about the election that was happening at the time, and about my news and media consumption. I didn't hear back after that, so I had to follow up to see if the position had been filled.

Technical Coding Behavioral

A recruiter reached out to me for this role. The interview process involved a 30-minute phone interview where they asked high-level technical questions about my past experience. Then there was a technical assessment with requirements that were pretty vague, which they said is just how they do things there. Finally, there was a face-to-face interview with lots of unstructured questions and subjective answers. The interviewers seemed to not know much about .NET Core, OOP, or general software engineering practices. I was rejected without any explanation, which was pretty disappointing and unprofessional.

Confirmed questions8 questions
  • The goal of this task is to evaluate your background in .NET (version 4.6 or dotnetcore) and C#.
  • Although the core task is straightforward, we'll be assessing the following aspects of your submission: the structure of your application, its testability, reusability, readability, and performance.
  • In essence, it must be of 'production quality'.

Applied with resume. I had 2 interviews, one with HR and then another with Sales Managers. It was a really great experience and communication, and I was able to see the office in person for the second interview.
