The interview process was pretty straightforward. It felt like a casual chat, and the hiring manager asked the typical questions. It was just one round, and I heard back pretty quickly.

It was all virtual. The CEO posted on her social media that they were hiring and to email a specific employee. I did that and had an interview with that employee, then a follow-up with who I think was the COO. Both people were nice. It would be cool if places let you know when you're not selected instead of just saying 'we'll be in touch' when they've already made a decision.

The first round of my interview went really well. The interviewer was very friendly and kept me informed. They helped me feel at ease and gave me a good idea of what the rest of the team might be like.

Had an interview with my potential boss. They asked me to send over detailed next steps and some work samples via email, and then I never heard back from them. I followed up a couple of times but still no response. I get not being the right fit, but it felt disrespectful of my time and job search. Big red flag, left a bad impression of the brand and made me not want to work with them in the future.
