First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Servomex.
Verification and Validation Engineer
The interview process had 2 stages. The first stage was on MS Teams, covering competencies, the validation process, ethics, and some basic background questions. The second stage involved an on-site tour of the working area and introductions to the project manager, team, and other senior staff. This was followed by a 30-minute interview with the BU director where salary, relocation, and reasons for applying were discussed.
- Regarding a piece of testing, what part of the validation process does it relate to, and what are your thoughts on it?
Site Leader
We met a few times at the office in TX, then I flew to the UK. I was supposed to have a proper interview with the president there, whom I met briefly in TX but he got delayed and missed the meeting he set up for me in the UK.
- How do you handle challenging team members in an engineering context?
Test Technician
Had an initial phone chat about the job. Then I was invited in for an interview. I met the Production Manager and got a tour of the place, plus I met some of the team. I was invited back for a second interview where I got to hang out with the main people I'd be working with and met my line manager. They made me feel really comfortable the whole time, and HR kept me in the loop. It really felt like Servomex is a solid and welcoming place to work.
- Were you asked questions about your technical skills related to the job?
BSS Engineer
The interview process was formal and required demonstrating high-level skills. It started with HR calls to describe the role, then a phone call with the hiring manager. After that, there was a face-to-face session with a team member, followed by another session with a case study. Then, another session with the hiring manager for a competence interview, and finally, an interview with the FD.
- What are the benefits of using a serial number?
