First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ServiceTrade.
Technology Intern
So the interview wasn't too bad, I just personally didn't know my stuff well enough. It started with an HR screening, and then the second round was a 1-hour technical interview with two team members. They didn't ask any Leetcode questions, it was more about whether I knew my stuff and understood full stack.
- Can you explain how you would test your code in a full stack application?
DevOps Engineer
We began by reviewing my past experience and internships. Then, we went over my understanding of specific areas the company was interested in, and I shared how I applied this knowledge in my studies and internships. We also discussed my familiarity with the company and what to expect regarding the timeline.
- Can you tell me about your knowledge in cloud technologies?
Sales Engineer
The interview kicked off with a phone screening, which went well. I got great feedback and was told I'd advance. The next step was meeting with a Sales Engineer already on the team. I sent a thank you email. A week later, I followed up again and was informed that there were already two candidates who had been in the process before me and they were moving forward with them. Two questions I have are: 1. Why interview me if there were already other candidates? 2. Why did it take a week and two follow-ups to get this info? I get having multiple candidates, but it's more professional and courteous to be upfront about where things stand with applicants. Otherwise, it's just a waste of everyone's time.
- Can you tell me about your experience with SaaS?
Financial Analyst
The interview process was split into three parts, all conducted virtually via Zoom. I interviewed with the hiring manager, who was really knowledgeable and friendly, and the interviews felt more like casual conversations rather than high-pressure assessments. They asked some behavioral and technical questions to see how prepared I was, but the focus was mostly on cultural fit. The final interview was with a C-level executive, and it was a fantastic experience overall. It was a great interview process!
- Could you describe an instance where you demonstrated one of the company's core values?
- Tell me about a time you embodied one of the company's core pillars.
- Give an example of how you've shown alignment with the company's core principles.
