I had interviews with two people, not counting the recruiter, and then I had to give a presentation about a customer success story. Everything seemed to be going well, and I didn't get any impression otherwise. But then, all I got was a "we went with another candidate," even though I was told there were multiple openings, and I kept seeing the same job listed for at least another month. When I asked for more details or at least some feedback on why I wasn't the best fit, I didn't get any response at all.

This was a new position being created to support the admin module of their software, acting as a dedicated resource for 2-3 of their larger clients. I went through 3 rounds of interviews: recruiter, hiring manager, director of product support. I really enjoyed all 3 interviews. The process was pretty straightforward and laid back. All 3 of the people I interviewed with were super friendly and very amicable. The discussions were as you would expect; a description of the roll, the company, my experience and what I could bring to the company, etc... The interviews ranged from 30-45 minutes each. I felt I made a real connection with both the hiring manager and director. While I made it to the final round, I unfortunately did not get the offer, however I did make an impression on them and was recommended for another opportunity within the company that fit my skillset and experience.

This interview process was a total waste of time. Right from the first interview with HR, which lasted about 10 minutes, I knew I wasn't getting the job. The interviewer mentioned that part of his evaluation was based on how many internal candidates he hired. After two interviews, I was completely ghosted. I would never work for a company that has cowardly hiring practices, so honestly, I'm glad I dodged a bullet.

I applied online and got an interview. The recruiter called me late on the interview day and was very unprofessional. She started by saying she wanted to see if I was someone they'd be interested in hiring, which I found odd. I was asked if I knew about ServiceChannel and the role's requirements. I said I'd done some research but asked for more info about the company and role. She replied she didn't have time and that since I applied, it was my duty to research. I then said I didn't want to continue and hung up. I'd advise others to stay away from this company.
