I had a phone interview with the recruiter which went well. Then I had a Zoom interview scheduled for 30 min with the controller. But at the start, she said it would be only 15 min. The next day I got an email saying they aren't moving forward with me. I had the skills for the job but I think the ageism mentioned by others is real. My graduation date isn't on my resume, but I suspect she saw my face and realized I was older, and that's why my application was rejected.

It was a pretty thorough process, I met with a bunch of different people on the team. They had some tests for me to do, and we had chats to make sure it was a good fit on both sides. It was cool to get a feel for who I'd be working with beforehand, and everyone was punctual and everything went as expected.
