It was brief but friendly, done on Wire, a messaging app. The interviewer was nice and easy to chat with. I think Covid has changed a lot of things everywhere but they are doing a great job handling it.

It was an easy interview, and the interviewer was decent, friendly, and helpful. They would explain things if I didn't know them instead of just moving on. The whole process was quick, with two interviews. The first was entirely based on my resume, and the second was an HR interview.

The interview lasted 2 hours where the owner did most of the talking and then questioned me at the end about why I would want the job given I was overqualified. I left with very vague feelings about what I spent two hours doing. A slightly lower level manager was enthusiastic about my qualifications and thought I'd be a good fit with other management styles and employees. Never heard from them again.

The VP of Sales reached out after my resume was seen on Indeed. I had two phone interviews and then went in for a face-to-face meeting. This meeting was with the CEO and VP of Sales, and we talked about the new role they were implementing, and it really seemed like it was being tailored to my skills. I asked a bunch of questions, but I didn't get a super clear idea of the job itself. I decided to keep going even though there are really bad reviews about the company online. I'm an optimist! Then I had another face-to-face meeting, this time with the CFO and the VP of a different department. It was kind of weird since I was applying for a sales position. But, they both said I impressed them. After that, I had yet another phone interview, and that's when they told me I got the job.
