Marketing
I found this marketing role on LinkedIn and applied directly. Jason Mandell reached out about a screening interview. The first scheduled interview was a no-show due to a sick child, and we rescheduled. The second scheduled interview was another no-show, and they ghosted my emails. I was expecting a 4.5 Glassdoor rating for this company, but this was a huge disappointment.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Account Executive
I had a very positive experience with the application process. Some things that contributed were: 1) all of the interviews could take place within 2-3 weeks so it felt super quick and smooth 2) the communication with the TA manager was great, she was very clear about the process and it felt like she was always available to guide me through each step 3) I was impressed with everyone I spoke with, they all seemed very knowledgeable and genuinely interested in my background and what I could bring to the team 4) clear company culture, everyone emphasized the importance of an open, non-hierarchical and positive culture which i have also experienced during onboarding 5) the offer felt like something I couldn't refuse, it was a step up from my previous salary and the two benefits (healthcare and pension) are the only ones that truly matter to me. Both of these are really great plans which shows that SEON is really willing to invest in their people. A less positive experience was that due to public holidays in the US and the UK I had to be a bit more patient before receiving my offer. Everything else was exactly like you'd imagined and hoped the application would be!

Technical Account Manager
The interview process was really drawn out. I saw the job on LinkedIn and applied online. The first recruiter was pretty good at emailing back and setting up the HR interview. I got through that, and then the first recruiter set up the hiring manager and colleague interview, which went well. After that, the hiring manager asked if I could do a take-home mini project that would take a few hours. I sent a thank you email right after the Zoom call and agreed to do it. I finished the project and then the hiring manager and the first recruiter just went silent. I felt like I was being ghosted. I had to send a bunch of follow-up emails to find out what was going on. Eventually, the second recruiter got back to me with an update and asked if I was free for a third interview with upper management. I said yes immediately. The third interview was alright, and I sent a thank you email afterward. Upper management sent a neutral email acknowledging my thank you. I then emailed the current recruiter for an update and got ghosted again. I sent another follow-up and finally got their rejection email. Most companies are much faster with rejections. This startup needs to work on its interview process. If you're set on working for this startup, be prepared for a long hiring process.

- The hiring manager might ask you to work on a take-home mini project that you are required to write up to 2 pages.
Product Manager
The hiring process was fast and smooth. I talked to a bunch of people from different teams, and they were all really nice, helpful, and easy to talk to. The interviews felt more like casual chats than the typical intense interviews I've experienced elsewhere. The steps were: HR call -> Hiring Manager chat -> Meetings with more managers and team members -> Another chat with the Hiring Manager -> Final HR discussion.
- Can you tell me about a past product you worked on that aligns with our company's work?
