Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sentieo.
Software Engineer
It was a rigorous and comprehensive interview process. They really focused on algorithms and the latest technologies. Overall, it was a good experience and the seniors were helpful. Make sure to brush up on your theory well to prepare.
- How can you create stacks using two queues?
Software Developer
I applied through a job portal. I was called on-site the next week. After that, a task was given to me. Despite submitting it in the given time, I received no feedback or response from HR. I have sent quite a few emails (and they were read by her) and texts, but still no response. They should have the courtesy to at least reply (even a simple no) to a submitted task, as any candidate who submits a solution has spent time on it, but that was not the case here.
- Were there basic DS and algo related questions?
- There was a task given which I couldn't complete there, but I was told that I could submit the same over the weekend.
Software Development Engineer
It was an on-campus recruitment drive, and all the rounds were elimination rounds. It started with a written aptitude test, then an online coding round, followed by two technical rounds focusing on DS-Algo and projects listed on the CV. Finally, there was one semi-technical round where we discussed past projects.
- Questions related to DP, Trees, and Arrays in the coding and technical rounds.
- An overview of an advanced Data Structure was asked in one of the Technical Rounds.
- A review of the aptitude test answers was also conducted.
