The interview process was quick and ran smoothly. It included a technical interview where I had to analyze some small circuits and look at code snippets. There were also general questions about teamwork and accountability. Overall, it was a pretty standard experience.

Sensata Almelo contacted University of Twente students via email about a temporary student worker position. I responded with my resume. Since I wasn't local, I had a phone interview with HR. The process was smooth and easy because the job was simple, temporary, and I had some prior work experience. There wasn't much negotiation needed since Sensata's student worker policies were quite fixed, and I didn't need to deviate from them.

There are many engineers competing for only a few spots. Lots of really qualified people didn't get picked. The company seems nice, and the work environment is good. But I wouldn't really recommend it because the work seems pretty boring. Mechanical engineers spend their whole careers here trying to cut down the cost of car parts by a few cents.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • What material would you suggest for building this component?
