Presentation

This was one of the worst interview experiences ever because there wasn't a real interview. You only had 4 minutes to present 5 important topics about yourself and what you expected from the role. The only feedback you'd get was that your time was running out. There were no questions for candidates, no follow-up, and no sign of genuine interest in what candidates said or their backgrounds. It's unacceptable that in 2025, there's such a dehumanized process. In less than 10 minutes, I got an email saying my submission didn't fully meet the company's expectations for the role. It's technically IMPOSSIBLE to say a candidate isn't a fit when you didn't provide time or show any interest, which makes it clear something strange was going on. They then asked in the same email to fill out a link about my participation, but if you actually express dissatisfaction, they'll likely never consider you again. After this, it's hard to believe there won't be consequences in future hiring. I always go into interviews without expectations, but this 'interview' still left me very disappointed due to the lack of humanity and respect. I didn't expect such a negative experience, but unfortunately, it happened.

The selection process for a single administrative assistant position at Senac struck me as a bit strange because of how many candidates there were. The HR folks said they picked 629 candidates for just one spot. This made me wonder about the point of the whole thing, since it's almost impossible to really check out that many people. They ended up selecting only 40 people for a case study, split into groups of 10. This happened all week, apparently. It makes you ask how they can properly and carefully look at so many people for just one opening. It makes you question if the process is fair and clear, because it's hard to imagine a thorough evaluation happening in these conditions.
