I had a phone call where they asked about my current salary and what I expected. After that, I interviewed with the manager, and then I had a full day of interviews on site. Even though I passed everything, they sent an offer that was lower than my current salary after three weeks. I don't recommend this company, it was a waste of time.

Let candidates know - A pet peeve of many job seekers is that they are left hanging after an interview, or they are promised follow-up that never comes. If the candidate is a good fit, be clear about what the next steps will be. And if the candidate is not a good fit, make the call as soon as possible out of courtesy. Compare notes and reach consensus - The post-interview evaluation is the time to compare notes and advance the hiring decision. Each interviewer should be prepared to back up remarks and recommendations with specific examples and notes from the interview. Deepen the questions as you narrow the field - Subsequent interviews with finalists are valuable opportunities to learn more about them. Consider recreating a real business challenge the individual would be facing.

It was a difficult interview, the manager asked me some questions about analog circuit blocks like oscillators and op-amps, and about the PLL project I did during my master's. The interview lasted for 3 hours. I wasn't very sure about the outcome afterwards, but I felt I did pretty well.
