The interview process was quite smooth. Questions were more focused more on soft skills and abilities to navigate agile. Tech interview didn’t include much live coding, which I found refreshing. Recruiter shared feedback very quickly.

This was a terrible interview experience, a complete waste of my time. It involved two developers who were frontend leaders. One of them did most of the talking. They seemed to ignore my answers and then rephrased them as their own 'correct' answers. For instance, when asked about what happens when a user types a website address, I explained the whole process from DNS to browser rendering. The interviewer then asked me to repeat it in order, even though I had just laid it out step-by-step. This pattern continued throughout the interview: they'd ask a question, I'd answer, and they'd dismiss it before repeating my response. Ultimately, I was told I had a superficial understanding. If you're not going to hire someone, at least have the guts to state the real reason, like 'we're looking for a different personality fit,' instead of making up excuses about my knowledge.

Behavioral Technical

I applied online and heard back from HR a few days later. They sounded really excited and told me a lot about the company. They didn't ask about my background or experience, but instead talked about practical things like where I'd want to work and how much I wanted to make. They said I'd hear back in three days, but I didn't. After waiting, I followed up, and they said the technical interview was delayed because they were short on technical staff. Another week passed, and I followed up again, getting the same reason for the delay. This whole thing was pretty disappointing. Finally, after waiting three weeks from the first call, I got a rejection, even though they'd promised a technical interview twice before. It was really disheartening, especially since their website said they'd respond in 3-4 days. It felt like a big disconnect between what they said and what happened.
