The HR was pretty fast in setting up an interview. My first interview was a phone call where the interviewer asked me about my background and work experience, basically questions about my resume. Then they asked me to send them a sample of user stories I'd written. I wrote them and they immediately got back to me for a final interview. This last round was in person, and they seemed really impressed. The interview took place at Panera bread. After it was over, I asked for some feedback and they told me my answers were precise and on point. The interview went really well, but I got a reject a few weeks later.

First I talked to HR, then I had an onsite interview at Panera which was kind of weird cuz it was noisy and we had to video call in one of the interviewers. It seemed to go fine. Then later that week I interviewed with the CEO over the phone, which also seemed to go well. The CEO said I'd hear back the next week but it's been two weeks and still nothing. I followed up with HR and she said they're still deciding. I feel like they should be more upfront with people, and the CEO really shouldn't be interviewing unless it's a final decision. I'm still waiting to hear back but I don't think I'm gonna get the job.

It started with a quick HR screening call where they asked general questions to confirm my US work authorization. After that, I had a chat with the hiring manager. He mostly explained the project I'd be working on and then asked me to introduce myself.
