Presentation Technical

It was a good interview, the interviewers were friendly and easy to talk to. I gave a presentation on a statistics project I worked on and they asked me follow-up questions about it. They inquired about GWAS, FDR, and related concepts.

Behavioral Technical

I talked to the recruiter and two product leads. One of them, the digital product lead for healthcare products, seemed really uninterested and wanted to cut the call short. It felt like she didn't want to hire anyone, but her boss needed someone. She seemed inexperienced with asking questions and didn't seem interested in getting to know me. I emailed the recruiter the following week but didn't hear back. Then I followed up again with the recruiter after three weeks, still no response. It seems like the recruiter might have left too, given how disorganized everything was.

Coding System Design

The interview process was great -- fairly standard phone screen (CoderPad + video interview), then an interview onsite with the teams that are looking to hire. The interview onsite consisted of standard system design + whiteboard coding questions -- nothing too crazy. They place a real emphasis on empathy, and you can feel that people are excited to interview you. Had a good experience there, I'd recommend interviewing there for sure. The team there is smart, hard-working, and very capable of execution.

The interview process was straightforward, with just three rounds. It started with an introductory call with the recruiter, followed by a technical interview with the VP. The last step was a salary negotiation call with HR. The whole process was quick and wrapped up within two weeks.
