First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Selldorf Architects.
Designer
It was a pretty standard interview. They let me talk about my projects and interests and I got to ask them questions. The office felt kind of low-energy and tense though, and the interviewers seemed stressed and not very engaged. It was a bit of a red flag for me.
- Can you tell us about your portfolio?
Office Assistant
The interview was easy and they got straight to the point about what's expected if I get the job. The interviewer was very friendly and answered all my questions. The whole thing took about 30 minutes, including a tour of the office. There are three rounds in the interview process.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Architectural Intern
I got an opportunity to apply for a summer intern role through my university and then I received an email to schedule an interview. The communication from the office was quick and helpful. My interview lasted about 30 minutes, where three employees asked me questions and looked over my portfolio.
- Can you tell me about your most preferred project from your work sample?
Intern
Got a reply after 3 weeks of applying. The interview was pretty fast, only 30 minutes long. Two people interviewed me and asked straightforward questions about my portfolio and experience.
- Can you tell me about your work?
- Could you walk me through your portfolio?
