The people were really nice and seemed happy to help. They mentioned flexible hours and the possibility of working from home. They also said it's a great job for kids. The questions were easy, just asking to be yourself and honest. They emphasized the importance of helpful and assertive communication, along with a positive attitude.

The interview process had 2 rounds of virtual interviews. The first one went well and led to the next round. The second round was to create a social media content plan demo of any other brand, which I completed masterfully. The 3rd and final round was a panel interview. During the panel interview, a staff member criticized a scenario I shared from a past negative outcome, stating it could impact their brand, even though I highlighted it as a lesson learned from real experience. Ultimately, they didn't extend an offer for the salary they were asking for, and I'm happy to be moving to a higher-level role with a better salary.

After a quick online application, I was emailed to set up a call. The process then moved pretty fast with a phone interview, a video interview, and then an in-person interview that included a tour. The last step was a 'pitch test'. The talent acquisition person contacted me weeks after I applied, but the rest of the process was quick. The interviews themselves were okay, but there were several professionalism issues. The address provided for the in-person interview was wrong, so I had to use Google Maps to find the right one. After the in-person, I was told I needed to do a pitch test, but I didn't get the script initially. They eventually sent it, but it gave a bad impression, like it was my fault. The pitch test itself was very cold, I got two tries, but they expected me to sound natural. The script and the product they're pushing to small Instagram businesses seem sketchy. They act like they have exclusive opportunities for new brands, but their sales reps use enticing language to make it seem more special than it is. Also, the original job posting mentioned a 75k salary, which seemed too good to be true. The actual base salary is 40k, with potential for 'upwards of 75k+ in commission based on sales.' During the in-person interview, I spoke with a Sales associate one-on-one about the commission rates, but I didn't get any clear answers or specific numbers/percentages. After the in-person, I wasn't sure about the company or their product. It seems like a decent starting role, but I wouldn't trust the company or the management.

I set up a phone screen online and then waited for 30 minutes for an interview that never actually happened. When we finally communicated afterwards, they didn't even say sorry for missing the call or for not emailing. During the actual call, it sounded like the interviewer was at a nightclub, and the noise made it really hard for me to answer questions. The questions themselves were pretty standard for a phone screen, but I just wish they'd shown a bit more politeness and professionalism.
