Investor Reporting Analyst
I applied and it took weeks to hear back. The recruiter called me for a quick 10 minute chat and said she'd call the next day with times for my first zoom interview. I didn't hear back for two weeks because she was working on a project. Finally, we set up a time and day. My first interview went great. She contacted me two-three days later to set up the second interview. We scheduled it and it went well. After that, I never heard from her or anyone else. I sent multiple follow-up emails and even asked for feedback but got absolutely nothing. I understand I won't get every job but it's really unprofessional to not respond with at least an 'I'm sorry you were not selected' instead of just ignoring me.
- Could you share one of your most significant achievements in your present position?
Loan Servicing Representative
I was first contacted over 6 weeks ago for an initial phone interview. They said they'd call back in a week to schedule an in-person, but that was over 5 weeks ago and I never heard anything. I assumed they filled the role and ghosted me. Then, a week ago, they called again, I did the phone interview again, and they scheduled the in-person for the same call. I went in last week and it went really well. Now they're doing my background and employment verification and said I'd hear back in 3-5 days. I'm pretty sure they're interested since they're doing the checks, but I'm nervous they'll take another month to get back to me. I was supposed to hear back already about an offer, but nothing yet. Hoping for the best!
- How confident do you feel about your work?
- How persuasive would you say you are?
Loan Servicing Representative
I went through one interview with two managers. It was a very basic interview with general questions, not specifically about collections but more sales-oriented. The interview focused on personality traits like being goal-driven and competitive. The whole interview was short. I interviewed during a big hiring event and it felt rushed because they had so many interviews to get through. They didn't have an interview room ready, so I had to wait by the door with the managers while they tried to find space. It was a bit of a squeeze because other managers were also looking for rooms. There wasn't a second interview, and then I heard back from HR.
- Can you tell me about your general background?

- What motivates you to apply for this position?
Analyst
SPS started recruiting through an info session on my campus. I applied there and online. About 2 weeks later, I got a call for an initial phone screen. They asked questions about my resume and academic performance. Less than a week after that, I interviewed with the HR recruiter for the analyst program. It was a 30-minute chat about teamwork and overcoming obstacles. A week later, I had the final panel interviews with 2-3 supervisors for about 45 minutes. They asked about behavior and how fast I can learn new things. SPS's recruiting and interview process was great, very upfront and clear about job descriptions.
- Can you explain a hard concept from a class you took?
