Had 3 interviews. Started with the recruiter, then a senior scientist, and finished with the supervisor. No hard questions, mostly about my background, experience, if I knew the company, and if I had experience matching the job description.

They started by asking me what I know about the facility. Then, they asked about my job experience and how it relates to the role. After that, they went over the company values and asked me questions related to each of them.

Got an offer a week after the panel interview. The salary was way lower than what HR said, like 15% less. Tried to negotiate a bit higher, but they just took the offer back as soon as I started talking about salary. Super unprofessional, honestly. Pretty sure it was the hiring manager or HR who pulled the offer, but it's a bad look for the company.

The hiring process required me to go above and beyond the job description requirements. Even though I met all but one qualification listed, and they initially said that was fine, they ended up rejecting me for not having that single item after four rounds of interviews. The interviews were more about assessing my career goals and interest in the role rather than my actual fit for the job, asking a lot about why I wanted to be there.
