I sent in my application online through LinkedIn, and then the HR team reached out to set up an interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager focused a lot on why my career path has been so varied. They also mentioned that the role wouldn't be expected to show results for about 18 months. This interview really gave me a sense of Seiko UK's company culture, the pace of work, and how they operate. I didn't move forward after that, and I think it was for the best.

The whole process was quick. HR promised to update me regardless of the outcome, but after I sent two follow-up emails, they became unresponsive. The HR also acted arrogantly during salary negotiations. I requested a 20% increase on my base salary, and they responded by suggesting they could offer the same salary but with a significantly higher bonus, potentially exceeding my current company's bonus.

The process started with a quick 15-minute screening call. After that, there was an in-person meeting that lasted about 2 hours. It was pretty in-depth but felt really informal, which made me feel comfortable. It kicked off with some written questions and then a chat with two team members.

the interview process was challenging and I did not succeed. They primarily inquired about my skills and what I could contribute. The response time was also slow, which extended the entire hiring process and the waiting period for the interview to about two months.
